After years of thinking Corporate Law was her future, Karie got introduced to advertising by chance. “The professor assigned us to read 100 pages and all I kept thinking was I don’t care about this stuff.” So she landed on the other side of campus and earned a degree in Advertising.

Not satisfied with knowing only the business side of advertising, Karie went on to earn a degree in Graphic Design. "I think that has made all the difference. Both degrees help me to understand the creative and business side of advertising." Now, working as a Freelance Graphic Designer in Dallas, Texas, her passion is still burning. "Whether your company is small business or big business, my desire is to take your ideas to another level through creative and meaningful design; while building a long-lasting client relationship."
